Hi Igor, Concerning your question about eating out, my opinion is to try more places and make your own opinion. Usually you are able to rent a small scooter if you have a licence for car. If not, you can use the Bus as Colin suggested. Liapades is quite quiet place, with many options to relax. Many private beaches around, if you are interested to hire a boat.

For Igor if you've not already left. We were in Liapades for 2 weeks in 2008. It is a very quiet place with only a few restaurants. We found the best place to get a feel for the place was eating in the village square - up the steep hill (just follow your nose, if you get lost the local will help) - the souvlaki (kebab) shop was good value and it's where the locals go and all the men of the village gather there at night, there's also 2 small bars, a cake shop and general supplies shop in the square. The food on the whole is pretty simple and can vary -costs were about same (maybe very slightly cheaper) than the UK. On the hill down to the beach there's a car hire place where you can also organise skippered boat trips etc and I'm sure they'd help with a more "real" excursion round and about. ANyway hope that helps and you have a great time. Calumsmum.

Hiya Don
Welcome to the Liapades-Bliss Forum.
We do not have a large membership at present but I am confident that you will not find a more knowledgable crowd for when you need advice.

I Dont believe it Colin.Ive made it through the Labrynth. I hope so anaway. I am a novice at the Computer Game. I only Book Flights and Holidays. Not to bad on e-mails! Anyway I digress. We stayed in Paleok....... last year ,and spent some time at the Acapulco, across the bay. Sat many hours on the Swing Seat, looking over to Liapades.looked excellent.Tried to walk over the Rocks, but came to a rather dodgy looking Ladder and Rope System. Not for me Im afraid. Tried to swim across, then remembered I CANT SWIM. We like the look of Liapades ,and intentd to visit in Sept, for one or two weeks (around 13th) Were a mature couple (well at least I am ) My Dees rather Childish.DOH (not really) Like it fairly quiet, bur certianly not Rest Home Style. Looked at Birlis Apt and Katerina. Any suggestions for us. Regards Woodie & Dee
