Hiya Woodie

I have been going to Liapades for the last twenty three years and have always stayed at the Liapades Beach Hotel/Cricketers Taverna.  We now know most of the villagers by sight if not personally.

I can really recommend it as the friendliness you find there is not to be missed.  Everyone is so pleased to see you whether it is your first or umpteenth time there.  For Sue and myself it is more like returning home than going on holiday and Spiro and his family are such nice people you would find it hard to find better anywhere.

The problem with the village is that they don't deal with UK Tour Operators and we all book with the Hotel/Taverna owners direct.

Ant specific questions you might have just let me know.

I'm seventy this year so I'm not exactly this years model.

I know I'm prejudiced but I don't think you could beat the Cricketers Taverna.  I can give you Spiro and Nicko's e-mail addyresses so that you can contact them.

Spiro normally does Half-Board only but I know that if you mention my name (I think of him as a second son now) he'll let you have Room Only if that's what you really want.

PM me if you're interested.

Rog.
Sorry about the delay. Its taking me some time to find and understand the system on the site.Plus weve just been to CORDOBA (Spain) you know that of course. It was excellent a lovely City ,thats The Old Part of Course.I allways think the OLDER things in life are THE BEST!. Mind you I would.
We are still in the market for a Sept Visit to Liapades. Probably go for the 2 weeks from 13th Sept to 27th.
The Cricketers sounds an option. We do allways stay B&B ,or just accom,we prefer to dine out locally at night. Its one of our favorite Activities.
If you can get any Info on the possibility and cost, that would be helpfull.
Look forward to hearing from you.
Regards
